After going through the fog, we have a race in what seems to be a repeating pattern until the end of the week. Early sun, with showers or storms in the afternoon and at night. Wednesday and Friday may be more exceptional, however, with the risk of some of the storms becoming strong or severe.

We are keeping an eye on the line of storms that are expected to form Wednesday afternoon in western Massachusetts. As they move east into the late afternoon and evening, we expect some to maintain their high winds, torrential rains, and gusty winds. Others may fade a bit, but plenty of rain is expected throughout our area. The storms will come out after 8:00 or 9:00 pm

Friday is almost an exact replica of Wednesday. The forecast says the same: early sun, late-day storms (some strong). The problem with that system is that it becomes a slow moving rain generator for Saturday, practically washing out the day and keeping us in the 60s. We expect some improvement on Sunday as temperatures recover.
