Bridgefest LA celebrates the birthday of the iconic Downtown Los Angeles Viaduct Bridge and raises money for the Arts District and Boyle Heights.
Although the celebration takes place from August 4 to 6, Saturday is the main day of the festival, where people can watch live performances by artists on the bridge from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The main artist is ozomatli, a rock band from Los Angeles. On Saturday there will also be a beer garden, car show and food trucks.
People can participate in a tour of local businesses in the Arts District and Boyle Heights throughout the weekend.
The festival raises money for Los Angeles River Artists and Business Association and Arts District Community LAboth community-driven organizations that aim to support the Arts District.
