Los Angeles (USA), Apr 15 (EFE).- The English golfer Matt Fitzpatrick took the lead of the RBC Heritage this Saturday while the Spanish Jon Rahm, who delivered the best card of the day on Friday, could not close the distance regarding the head on the third day.

Recent winner of the Augusta Masters and number one in the world, Rahm got a -2 this Saturday and has an accumulated -8 that leaves him 6 shots off the lead, the same distance he had on Friday.

Fitzpatrick was the best this Saturday in the tournament on Hilton Head Island (South Carolina, USA) with -8 (eagle and six birdies without a miss) for -14 in total after three rounds.

The Englishman took first place from the American Jimmy Walker, who suffered with a +1 on the third day (-11 accumulated).

Behind Fitzpatrick now appear the Americans Patrick Cantlay (-5 this Saturday, -13 accumulated) and Jordan Spieth (-5 in the third day, -12 in total).

Finally, the Argentine Emiliano Grillo continues to give very good feelings in this tournament and will reach the last day with a -10 in total after -3 on Saturday.
