Om knappt tre vekor bejärer menrarnas ishockey WC. Lejonens förbundskapten Jukka Jalonen has made a new move for the training match against Sweden. Juho Lammikko and Iiro Pakarinen are two of the sex new players in the team.
It has already been clear that the defenders Mikko Lehtonen (ZSC Lions) and Petteri Lindbohm (Frölunda) will join the squad for the matches against Tre Kronor in Umeå.
It’s new that even goalkeeper Roope Taponen (HIFK) and attackers Juho Lammikko (ZSC Lions), Iiro Pakarinen (HIFK) and Tommi Tikka (Ilves) have the chance to play for WC tickets.
Sex nya spelare means that ett antal spelare forced the Lämna troupe. It’s about back Arttu Pelli (HPK) and forwards Markus Hannikäinen (Linköping), Eetu Liukas (HPK), Patrik Puistola (Jukurit) and Jerry Turkulainen (JYP).
– The WC camp has now reached the halfway point. Just like before, the lineup changes during the course of the camp, says general manager Jere Lehtinen on the association’s website.

En NHL-förstärkning har reda anslutit: anfallaren Kasperi Kapanen. Inför the EHT tournament, the Czechs will join three more North American additions: back Olli Määttä and forwards Patrik Laine and Sakari Manninen.
