MADERA, California – Madera firefighters responded to a fire that broke out just before 6:30 p.m. in the area of D streets and 5th St.
It was first reported as a debris fire, but finally it was an emergency in a commercial building located in the center of the city.
Firefighters were able to contain the flames in a couple of hours avoiding other major exposures.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
