The Ministry of Health, through the Santa Fe Food Safety Agency (Assal), prohibited the fractioning, possession, transport, commercialization and exhibition throughout the territory of Santa Fe of the labeled food product El Paraíso brand sandwiches.

The resolution was taken “because it is a counterfeit food in accordance with the provisions of point 8 of article 6, chapter 1 of the CAA and whose withdrawal falls under a Class II food incident in accordance with the provisions of the Food Withdrawal Manual, article 1415 of the aforementioned Code ”, they added from the agency.

Assal verifies that food products comply with current food legislation; that the labels have all the mandatory information; and that this information is true and correctin order to provide tools to food consumers guaranteeing the health of all.
