The sad news fell this Saturday, February 18. Footballer Christian Atsu has been found dead in the ruins of his building in Hatay, southern Turkey. The Ghanaian international, who played for the Hatay club, was one of more than 40,000 people who lost their lives in the earthquakes that devastated Turkey and Syria last February 6. It was Christian Atsu’s agent, Murat Uzunmehmet, who announced his death to the Turkish private agency DHA, said AFP. “Atsu’s lifeless body was found under the rubble.
