At Eintracht Frankfurt there are signs of a medium-sized upheaval for the summer. Some of the Adler’s top performers, such as Djibril Sow (26), have recommended themselves to larger clubs with strong performances. For others like Daichi Kamada (26), the contract expires at the end of the season. So that the squad change at the Europa League winner does not turn into a financial feat, the club is increasingly looking for free transfer players.
According to ‘Sport1′, one of them is Omar Marmoush. The 24-year-old offensive player will not renew his contract with VfL Wolfsburg as things currently stand. Most recently, the Egyptian’s demands were well above the Wolves’ financial expectations.
In the current season, Marmoush, who keeps switching between the starting XI and the substitutes’ bench, has contributed four goals in 22 appearances. The flexible right foot was also a topic in the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Skhiri flirts back
Ellyes Skhiri is also on the shopping list as a free reinforcement at SGE. The wires between Eintracht and the midfield engine of 1. FC Köln are currently running hot. The first concrete talks have already taken place. And the 27-year-old Tunisian would not be averse to moving to the Main metropolis, as he revealed to ‘Bild’.
“Frankfurt are playing very well this year, they are playing to reach the Champions League or the Europa League. Frankfurt could be a good project”says Skhiri, but qualifies: “First of all, I want to focus on myself and the rest of the season. Nothing concrete from my side, I don’t know.
