Borussia Dortmund apparently costs a lot for the commitment of Daichi Kamada (26). In order to secure the services of the Japanese, the black and yellow are putting a total of twelve million euros on the table, according to information from ‘Sport1’. Eight of them go directly to Kamada, the rest are pocketed by his advisors.
On top of that comes the salary of the Japanese. ‘Sport1’ confirms information from the ‘Frankfurter Rundschau’ from yesterday evening, according to which Kamada will sign a five-year contract. This should bring him up to six million euros a year. The pay TV broadcaster calculates: A total of 40 million euros will be due for the 26-year-old.
Kamada’s contract with Eintracht Frankfurt expires at the end of the season. He did not accept an offer from the reigning Europa League winner. However, he should be in agreement with BVB.
Frankfurt top performer
The 26-year-old moved to Frankfurt from his native Japan from Sagan Tosu in 2017. There he established himself after some time as a top performer in midfield. Overall, he has appeared in 162 competitive games so far, in which he was directly involved in 68 goals.
In Dortmund, Kamada will probably take the place of Mo Dahoud (27), who will also leave BVB for free.
