In Dortmund, only three objects will be foreclosed on in May – including a city apartment and a house with a large garden full of rubbish.
The District Court of Dortmund has for May 2023 only three objects on the list of foreclosures. All dates are scheduled for May 11, 2023 at the FZW.
But beware: bargain are foreclosure properties in Dortmund not anymore. The massively increased prices for single-family houses, terraced houses and condominiums have also drastically increased the price of house auctions.
Nevertheless, those interested in buying a house should not give up hope: When District Court of Dortmund new foreclosures are added every month.

condominium: In the first appointment one comes Single apartment in the Dortmund clinic district under the hammer. The small city apartment (60 square meters, market value 125,000 euros) is in an old building from around 1900, which was rebuilt in the 1950s after war damage. The apartment is centrally located, but very quiet, in a play street (Detmarstrasse/Hüttemannstrasse) near West Park.
underground parking space: Second becomes a Parking space in Dortmund-Oestrich foreclosure. Market value: 7800 euros. The parking space is one of 110 parking spaces in the underground car park of a 144-party residential complex from the 70s. According to the report, the situation is satisfactory: On the Worderfeldstraßewhich is close to the S-Bahn station, there are “potential users” for the parking space.
Detached house: The third appointment is about a freestanding Detached house in Dortmund-Schwieringhausen (Market value: 387,000 euros). Although it is a new building (first occupancy in 2014), the house needs some love: Due to construction defects, no final inspection was possible, according to the report. The construction at the Alfred-Lange-Strasse is partly unfinished, partly in need of renovation. In addition, the previous residents left some rubbish behind – inside and out. But the work should be worth it: the house in rural Schwieringhausen has a 2000 square meter plot. Part of it has to be turned into an orchard as compensation areas.
