Saltillo Coahuila; April 9, 2023.- In order for Coahuila to continue being one of the safest states in Mexico, the candidate of the Citizen Alliance for Security, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, proposes a comprehensive plan so that the entity remains armored, safe and in order .
“Here in Coahuila we live safe and in peace, that is why in this election there are two paths: the path of those who want to come and transform us into a violent and insecure place as they have already done in other states, or the path we have taken so far. and in which we will continue to shield Coahuila”, he highlighted.
He added that for this, four priority strategies of prevention, proximity, intelligence and force will be worked on, always in coordination with the Mexican Army, the National Guard, the prosecutor’s offices, the state and municipal police.
He pointed out that Prevention is the beginning of the work to maintain Security, with cultural and sports programs focused on youth, in which all citizens can participate and reinforce the fight against addictions.
“With Proximity, we will make our police officers more humane, closer to the people, in addition to providing better benefits and salaries to the elements, so that they can do their job confident that they are well rewarded for it,” he added.
Intelligence is the application and use of technology in the fight against insecurity, which will include the installation of more surveillance cameras in the municipalities, and mobile police booths in the neighborhoods and communities that require it, in addition to running the Committees Citizens of Security to all of Coahuila, to continue being a national benchmark for civil participation in the maintenance of peace and order.
On the issue of force, the PRI-PAN-PRD alliance candidate explained that more weapons, patrols, and tactical equipment will be purchased so that the elements of the state police are strongly prepared to face crime.
“As governor I will defend with all the peace and tranquility of our families; here security goes ahead, because it doesn’t even go backwards to catch a flight, ”he pointed out.
