Texcoco, Mexico.- Surrounded by 33,000 delegates, Alejandra del Moral protested this afternoon as a PRI candidate for the Government of the State of Mexico.

The delegates came together in a Texcocan property, the stronghold of the teacher Delfina Gómez, who in the facilities of the Horse Fair -2.2 kilometers away- was also starring in a massive event as a pre-candidate for Morena.

Hundreds of buses and minibuses transported the delegates from each of the 125 municipalities of the State of Mexico.

The national leader of the PRI, Alejandro Moreno, took the protest to Alejandra del Moral on a platform that was placed in the center of the property, surrounded by dozens of stands.

The candidate – whose father suffered a heart attack last night – will also be from the Va por México alliance, whose representatives witnessed the rally.

Alejandra del Moral, former head of Economic Development in the Government of Alfredo del Mazo, took up her campaign slogan – “Courageous” – in the message she delivered after having protested.

“Here we are the brave. You are not born to be brave: you learn to be brave. And do you know who taught me to be brave? The PRI members of the 125 municipalities of the State,” he said.

Del Moral raised his voice to proclaim: “Today we take Texcoco and we are going to win the election.”

“You are my family and today I need you to continue advancing. The PRI members are hardened in a thousand battles. I know very well that it will not be easy, but the brave do not like easy things,” he warned.

“It’s easy for someone else to campaign for you. It’s easy to hide in another person’s attributes. It’s easy to be submissive to others. And I’m the opposite,” he said.
