Nana Ampomah and Fortuna Düsseldorf will go their separate ways shortly. As the ‘Bild’ reports, the Rhinelanders are about to terminate the contract with the 27-year-old. An agreement on the severance payment is expected in the near future. The working paper of the left wing expires in the summer. Fortuna had recently transferred the winger to the second team after he returned too late from vacation.
The Ghanaian international once again stepped out of line. Since his arrival in the summer of 2019, Ampomah has repeatedly made missteps off the pitch, and the right foot was not a big improvement in sport either. The offensive player made his last professional appearance for Fortuna in September 2020. In the meantime, Ampomah was loaned to Royal Antwerp for two years.
