Omar Colley (30) will soon play in the Turkish Süper Lig. As Transfermarkt expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports, the central defender is about to move to Besiktas. As a result, Sampdoria Genoa will receive a transfer fee of 2.5 million euros for his services. The Italians didn’t actually want to give up their top performer, but Colley himself clearly expressed his wish to change, according to Di Marzio.

It was reported last week that Besiktas would first have to sell defender Romain Saïss (32), but the Moroccan is likely to remain in Istanbul for the time being. Colley joined Sampdoria in 2018 for a whopping €9m from KRC Genk. The Gambier has played 16 games this season.
