Forza Horizon 5 has proven to be a wildly popular game, but many drivers have likely moved on to other titles since it was released in 2021 after all. Many of these are definitely coming back in March, though.

Playground Games has now – as promised – presented the second major expansion (the first was Hot Wheels) for Forza Horizon 5, and it is called Rally Adventure. Here we get to visit Sierra Nueva, where the studio’s “most extreme driving roads ever” lets us drive through six new type of environment. These also offer the largest number of competitive events for a Horizon expansion ever thanks to a new campaign mode where we get to join three rally teams, all focusing on different types of challenges.

Quantity often comes at the expense of quality, but luckily that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Playground’s eye for detail shows in the expansion’s improved terrain deformation, a new heads-up display (along with a map reader that provides callouts), launch controls that make it easier to get good starts, ten new extremely detailed off-road vehicles and more.

Rally Adventure launches on March 29 and is included with the special editions of Forza Horizon 5, but can also be purchased separately for $19.99. If you don’t feel like splurging, the same day you’ll also be rewarded with a new radio station called Epitaph Records and a bunch of rally-focused EventLab content as part of a free same-day update.

You can see most of this in the trailer below, and get more detailed information about the new cars, the new rally parts, the anti-lag system and more. Something to look forward to perhaps?
