A case is shocking and outrageous in La Plata as more details about what happened begin to become known and that is that the Police arrested a couple accused of beating their two-month-old baby and causing serious injuries in their own home, in the Ringuelet town.
According to police sources, the personnel of the Functional Investigation Unit No. 6 of La Plata are the ones who are carrying out the case and in the last hours details of the creature’s medical report were released. The details are shocking and reflect brutal mistreatment.
The report of the professionals shows “a delicate state of health of the little one”, who presented “severe trauma; blows and collisions of the child’s head against hard and blunt objects; blows with hands and fists and shaking of the thorax (shaken baby), which caused, among other injuries, retinal hemorrhage; head trauma; subdural hematoma posterior interhemispheric fracture; subarachnoid hemorrhages; multiple bone fractures, such as biparietal fracture, left humerus, costal arches 4, 5,6 and ipsilateral hemithorax”.
This led to an intense investigation, which led to the arrest of the parents, accused of the crime of “homicide aggravated by the relationship and treachery, in an attempted degree.” The prosecutor Marcelo Romero requested the capture of both individuals and argued: “The parents carried out such violent acts towards their baby knowing that there was a certain and concrete possibility of causing his death, assuming said risk and showing absolute indifference towards it, since said result did not materialize. for reasons beyond their control.”
“I want to especially highlight the professional commitment of all the staff of the Children’s Hospital of La Plata, Sister María Ludovica, for their concern, involvement and valuable collaboration in this investigation,” the prosecutor remarked. It should be noted that the parties involved in this case did not provide data to preserve the identity of the beaten baby.
