The attacker is an Algerian targeted by an OQTF
In an attempt to evade the police, the attacker tried to rush to the door, but the police ended up calling him and leading him to the police station. A complaint was filed by the victim. While in police custody, this 26-year-old Algerian denied all the charges and allegedly pretended not to understand French.
According to the investigation launched against him, the latter is not his first attempt at sexual assault. In January 2022, he also attempted to assault a 23-year-old Italian woman in the same way.
