12 teams from four nations showed great ice hockey

The 1st Int. Sigi Haberl 3 Kings commemorative tournament in Lustenau last weekend.

In the end, Augsburger EV secured victory in the final against the French participant from Annecy. In the small final, the U11 team from EHC Lustenau defeated VEU Feldkirch in the derby and finished third in the table. A total of 12 teams from four nations took part in this junior tournament. The spectators in the stands cheered on their teams frenetically. The fairness that all teams showed at the games deserves special mention.

“It was a wonderful youth tournament here in the Rheinhalle in Lustenau. All 12 teams showed enthusiastic ice hockey. At this point I would like to thank the organization team around the overall coordinator Birgit Dietrich. They did a great job,” said EHC President Herbert Oberscheider.

“I am very satisfied that this tournament could be held in this form and that everything worked out. Thank you also to the numerous spectators who gave this tournament a worthy setting. We will definitely hold the tournament again next year,” said Birgit Dietrich, the overall coordinator who was very satisfied.
