An incident that forced him to go to the hospital urgently after seeing how the thumb of his left hand began to swell due to the dangerous poison. After several days of silence, the herpetologist resumes his activity on YouTube to report on his evolution and explain how it all happened.
“At the moment I’m still alive,” he begins by saying. “It is a very rare bite. Compared to the green snake here, the effect is very fast. After 30 seconds he was in brutal pain and after 5 minutes his hand was like a potato ”, he continues recounting on his channel. Frank Cuesta anticipates that the recovery of his thumb will not be easy since the venom of this type of viper “affects the tendons”. “This hand is like a hook now, I can only use it as a perch,” she says.
