7 days, 6 mountain peaks and almost 6,000 meters in altitude covered: A demanding but wonderful week on the Silvretta Bielerhöhe comes to an end.

Every day we set off from Naturefriends House 1 at around 2,000 meters above sea level and into the many valleys that the Silvretta area has to offer. In addition to the week’s highlight on the Schneeglocke, we were at the Totenfeldscharte, on the Sonntagsspitze, on the Mittlere Getschnerspitze and over the Seelücke even in Switzerland!

Thanks to the great leadership of the group by Wolfgang Illmer, who can almost call the Silvretta his home, the most beautiful and undeveloped slopes were found to ski down. Dieter Schneider also supports the management with his good eye for the most ideal ascent tracks.

In addition to the tours, theory was also taught and practical avalanche exercises were carried out in order to always be safe on the road. Back in the hut, the group was spoiled with culinary delights by Infriede Nussbaumer every day, so that they had enough energy for the next tour.

Now back in the valley, with the sun still on your face, you’re already longing for the great backdrop of the snow-capped mountain peaks and the crystal-clear reservoir. Silvretta Bielerhöhe – See you again next year!
