BILD film tip: “Dear Kurt” – is the film adaptation of the 2020 book “Kurt” by Sarah Kuttner.
The lives of Kurt (Til Schweiger), Lena and Jana (Jasmin Gerat) are going in the right direction. Kurt and Lena are a couple and Kurt has a son with his ex-wife Jana who is also called Kurt. Despite all the complications, the patchwork family lives quite harmoniously in the country. When the son dies in a tragic accident, the rug is ripped out from under the feet of the three adults. The three affected adults all try in different ways to process the boy’s death and find their way back to life.
