Without a doubt, Gabriel Suazo is going through the best moment of his career, who weeks ago won his first title with Toulouse after overwhelming Nantes 5-1 in the French Cup.

In that match, Suazo was one of the great figures and was key in the Violets’ third goal after a superb assist from more than 60 meters for Thijs Dallinga that declared the 3-1 set.

In this way, Gabi added a new cup to his long list, in which the nine trophies won with Colo Colo stand out: three Chilean First Division tournaments, three Chilean Cups and three Chilean Super Cups.

In this sense, the 25-year-old defender recalled what it was like to obtain his first title in European football at a press conference, where he put it above those he achieved with the Cacique.

In the first instance, the winger trained at the Semillero Albo maintained that “I had the opportunity to win many trophies in Chile, but this title in the French Cup is special.”

Along the same lines, the former Popular captain was clear in pointing out that “it was a dream to play and win in Europe, it means a lot. And I am the first Chilean to win this cup, it is incredible”.

Finally, the national footballer indicated that “I am impressed by the fervor in Toulouse. I would like to thank everyone for the support we received, the experience with the celebrations after winning the final against Nantes marked me.”

The next challenge for Gabriel Suazo and company will be against Nantes this Sunday from 09:00 am in Chile at the Toulouse Municipal Stadium, within the framework of the 35th date of Ligue 1.
