The Galaxy A34 5G should be presented soon by Samsung, possibly alongside the Galaxy A54 5G. The device now appeared in a test on Geekbench, and also had leaked camera features.

Among the information shown in the Geekbench database is the model number SM-A346B, where “A34” refers to its name and the number “6” confirms support for 5G networks natively. Its processor was also revealed, and the Galaxy A34 5G should be presented with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 platform, with eight cores, two of which are high-performance clocked at 2.6 GHz and the other six clocked at 2.0 GHz.

In addition, it runs the Android 13 operating system — possibly under the One UI 5 interface — and has 6 GB of RAM.

With this set, he managed to register 786 points in the test with only one core and another 2,294 points in the test with the full power of the platform.

Other premium mid-range phones presented recently have this chipset, as is the case with the Realme 10 Pro Plus, as well as the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, presented by Xiaomi globally at the beginning of the month.

Camera set should change little

The Dutch website GalaxyClub even had access to the alleged set of cameras on the Galaxy A34 5G. They point out that the cell phone will feature an 8 MP ultrawide lens camera, a 5 MP macro and a 16 MP front camera, abandoning the depth sensor in this generation.

They also mention that, although they are not 100% sure, chances are high that they will replace the 48 MP main camera of the Galaxy A33 5G for a 50 MP sensor. Finally, they reveal that it should have a battery of 5,000 mAh capacity.

Unfortunately, there is still no set date for the Galaxy A34 5G to become official. However, the brand will introduce a new Galaxy A series smartphone in India on January 18th.
