Police officers kidnapped in Garupá a motorcycle registered as stolen in Posadas and arrested the young man related to the crime. Then, through investigative tasks, in the Ñu Porá neighborhood of that town, they identified Brahian Alexander Maldonado Torrez (22), a native of Mendoza who had a valid arrest warrant for a homicide that occurred in that province in September of last year.

The operation was carried out at the intersection of Los Paraísos and Los Teales streets, where the personnel of the Investigations Section of the Garupá police station, around 10 yesterday, seized a Motomel 150 motorcycle with a request for kidnapping at the First Police Station of Inns. For the fact they arrested Leonardo N. (24), who was placed at the disposal of Juan Manuel Monte, in charge of the Second Investigating Court. Subsequently, in order to determine the complicity of other people, the uniformed officers returned to the scene to interview those who were with the young man linked to the robbery of the vehicle.

Upon arrival at the place, they identified the presumed tenants of the front house, who turned out to be from Mendoza. Among them was Maldonado Torrez (22), who stated that he has lived in Misiones for a year and recently met the person involved in the theft of the motorcycle of which he does not know the origin.

Next, according to police sources, a consultation was held with Investigations and Homicide personnel from the Province of Mendoza, who reported that the young man has a valid arrest warrant for a homicide that occurred on September 15 of last year in Las Heras, Mendoza.

After informing the intervening court, the magistrate in charge ordered his immediate detention until the relevant procedures are carried out for his transfer to the province of origin.
