After a raid in the Santa Clara II neighborhood of the town of Garupá, the police seized in the last few hours more than 730 bricks and 151 marijuana buds, collected from a home on Posadas street.

The troops broke into the house after an investigation into the theft of a motorcycle, a place that would be used as a hold and junkyard.

Thus, in the place they found 38 bags of marijuana and a precision scale, for which the Dangerous Drugs Directorate was quickly intervened. By order of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, the drug was seized along with the scale and transferred to the Police Station, where the seized was counted and weighed.

The marijuana was distributed in 38 packages, with 732 loaves, 145 packages and 6 large bags of marijuana buds, weighing 639.85 kilograms, which would have a value of more than 200 million pesos.

It is worth mentioning that at this time they continue with the investigations to verify the origin of the seized substance and the apprehension of those involved.

The procedure was carried out by members of the Complex Investigations Directorate together with the Infantry Guard, with the presence of Investigating Judge No. 2 of Posadas, Dr. Juan Manuel Montes.
