Version 3.4 of Genshin Impact is fast approaching and will be released on January 18, 2023 according to HoYoverse.
With the new update you can expect, among other things, the big New Year’s celebration of Teyvat and you can explore a new area.
What’s new in Genshin Impact 3.4
The focal point of version 3.4, which goes by the name of the Night of Crystal Clear Sound of Strings, is the festival of the lantern ritual.
This year a music festival awaits you with guests from far away. So is shadow play, a popular folk art performed by local artisans.
Various mini-games are available as part of the Lantern Ritual, such as Radiant Sparks, where you become part of a rising fireworks display. Rewards include Twisted Fates ×13, a 4-star Liyue character, and Lisa’s new clothes.
In Inazuma, in turn, you prepare for two competitions, the Fighter’s Heart Duel and the Beetle Duel.
Additionally, two new playable Dendro characters will be available in the upcoming version: Alhaitham is a 5-star swordsman and Yaoyao is a 4-star character.
In northwest Sumeru you can explore a new area with the desert of Hadramaveth. There is a huge, incessant tornado that, in addition to stormy weather, also brings “hidden secrets” to Earth.
There’s also a new world quest, The Golden Dreamland, and a time-limited Ingenious Summoning game mode.
