MEXICO CITY (appro). – The National Meteorological Service of the National Water Commission (Conagua) reported that there will be occasional rains in 21 states of the Mexican Republic.
There will be heavy rains in Michoacán, Guerrero and Oaxaca. Very strong in Jalisco Colima, Chiapas, Campeche and Yucatán; strong in the State of Mexico, Mexico City, Morelos, Puebla, Veracruz, Tabasco and Quintana Roo, as well as showers in Nayarit, San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo and Tlaxcala.
This, he indicated in a statement, is due to tropical wave number 7 in the south of Chiapas and a low pressure channel in the southeast of the country, moisture ingress from the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, along with low pressures that would cause cyclones.
“The aforementioned rains will be accompanied by electric shocks and possible hail fall and could generate flooding and increase the levels of rivers and streams, as well as cause landslides and floods,” he said.
He pointed out that, on the other hand, an anticyclonic circulation will move to the United States, but it will maintain a hot to very hot environment in the north and northwest of the country, and there will be dust storms in the northwest, northeast, and north of the Republic.
Temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees are forecast in Baja California, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nayarit, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tamaulipas, northern Veracruz and Yucatán; from 35 to 40 degrees in Chiapas, Colima, Durango, Guerrero, the north of Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Oaxaca, the north of Puebla, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Zacatecas and from 30 to 35 degrees in Aguascalientes, the southwest of the State of Mexico, Guanajuato and Querétaro.
Cloudy skies are forecast cloudy skies with a warm environment towards the afternoon. Partly cloudy skies are forecast during the day, wind and dust storms, as well as on the western coasts of the Baja California Peninsula.
Weather forecasts for the North Pacific call for cloudy skies and very hot to extremely hot conditions in the afternoon. Wind from the west and southwest component is expected and dust storms in Sonora, and dust storms in Sinaloa.

Electric shocks, gusts of wind and hail fall are forecast in Colima, Jalisco, Michoacán and Nayarit, as well as variable direction wind and dust storms in areas of Jalisco and Nayarit; gusts of wind with dust storms in Michoacán, and waves on the coast of Colima.
In the South Pacific there will be a warm to very hot environment in the afternoon. Cloudy skies are expected for most of the day, Chiapas, Guerrero and Oaxaca, as well as wind and waves on the coasts of Guerrero. For the slope of the Gulf of Mexico, a warm to very hot environment is forecast towards the afternoon.
Cloudy skies are forecast for most of the day with electrical discharges in Tabasco and Veracruz, partly cloudy skies in Tamaulipas, as well as wind and dust storms in Tamaulipas. The forecast for the Yucatan Peninsula is for a warm environment in the morning and a hot environment in the afternoon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected for most of the day, electric shocks and hail fall in Campeche, Quintana Roo and Yucatán, as well as component winds in Campeche and Yucatán. The forecasts for the Mesa del Norte are for cloudy skies and a warm to extremely hot environment in the afternoon. Wind and dust storms are forecast in Aguascalientes, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas. For the states of the Central Table, cloudy skies and a warm to hot environment are forecast in the afternoon.
East and northeast winds are forecast with dust storms in Guanajuato, and dust storms in Hidalgo and Querétaro.
The SMN reported that it is keeping two low-pressure zones in the Pacific Ocean under surveillance, with a probability of cyclonic development in the seven-day forecast, one is to the south of the coast of Guerrero and the other to the south of El Salvador.
