Dion Drena Beljo could soon be chasing goals in the Bundesliga. However, not as recently reported for Borussia Mönchengladbach. According to the news portal ‘Germanijak’, FC Augsburg received an offer for the NK Osijek centre-forward.
According to the report, the Fuggerstädter have offered a transfer fee of three million euros. After Osijek asked for more than four million euros in the last summer transfer window, the Croatian first division team’s desired price has now fallen somewhat. An agreement between the clubs is now apparently within reach.
According to ‘Germanijak’, only the last details have to be negotiated. Representatives of the Bundesliga club are said to be in Croatia to bag the transfer. The signing of the attacker could anticipate the loss of Florian Niederlechner. The 32-year-old has agreed with Hertha BSC on a summer change, but an early departure in January is not entirely out of the question.
