Several hundred participants gathered on Saturday (May 06, 2023) in Nuremberg for the “Global Marijuana March” to demonstrate for the legalization of cannabis.

The meeting will take place on Saturday and next weekend in 26 cities across Germany under the motto “Legalization instead of imprisonment”. In addition to the demonstration, the organizers several speakers and a large music system organized. In addition, an information stand was set up where one could find out more about cannabis.

In the meantime, the Bavarian state government has announced that it intends to stop legalization “by any means necessary” and has received some severe criticism for this.
