As a report published on the website of Hobby Consoles. Judge broke a mark set in 1942 at the Oscars ceremony with his video game award speech lasting 7 minutes and 59 seconds..
On Christmas night, The Game Awards Twitter account tweeted: “Let Kratos set a world recordhe. The longest awards acceptance speech in history was given by actress Greer Garson at the 1942 Oscars.. Leave it to Kratos to set a world record.

Earlier, the same account had confirmed that Judge’s was the longest speech at the video game Oscars and the voice actor himself jokingly wrote with Geoff Keighley, the organizer: “Thank you Geoff Keighley. I would like to thank…”.
In another tweet, Christopher Judge went a little further to show his appreciation: “My last thoughts on ‘the speech’ have been nothing if not kind to me. I’ve taken it all as good fun. To those who have been successful in their lives on their own, congratulations”.
My last thoughts on “the speech” @geoffkeighley has been nothing but kind to me. I have taken it all as good fun. For those who have been successful in their lives all on their own, congratulations. For me it took a village. And I will always be grateful to them❤️
