Good idea? Zynga introduced Sugartown, its first blockchain game

Zynga, a production company belonging to Take-Two Interactive, officially presented Sugartown, a Web3 game that uses blockchain for its content. Powered by Ethereum, it provides players with an ever-growing and immersive environment. Although we could say that it is already a bit late to launch a blockchain game…

The game centers on three anthropomorphic animals that trigger a portal releasing Ora creatures to explore dimensions. These Oras will help us beautify Sugartown. It is accessed with the Ora ERC-721 token, obtaining energy and Sugar through minigames.

Matt Wolf, VP of Web3 at Zynga, anticipates Sugartown’s impact: “We look forward to its launch as our first Web3 game and original intellectual property on the mobile front. Our mission is for players to have fun with games on a Web3 platform«.

Sugartown is Zynga’s first blockchain game.

Wolf highlights this as the start of the company’s investment in the blockchain industry.: «We created Sugartown to captivate the Web3 audience, aspiring to foster a passionate and engaged community. We hope they appreciate this experience as much as we do in bringing it to life.”

Users will be able to purchase Oras, which will give them access to games on the Web3 platform. The continuous evolution of the title ensures a welcoming and constantly improving experience.

At the moment, details about Sugartown’s release date and its availability on different devices are in a state of uncertainty. Take-Two Interactive has not provided comment on the matter. Future updates and communications on these aspects are expected to be disclosed through the company’s official platforms, such as its Twitter account and its Discord server.
