This season 2 will take us from before the Beginning in biblical times, through grave robbing in Victorian Edinburgh, to the Blitz in 1940s England and up to the present day.
Au casting, Jon Hamm will return as Archangel Gabriel, Doon Mackichan as Archangel Michael, and Gloria Obianyo as Archangel Uriel. Miranda Richardson will be the demon Shax, Maggie Service will play Maggie and Nina Sosanya will portray Nina, while Shelley Conn will take on the role of the demon Beelzebub.
Neil Gaiman remains executive producer and co-showrunner with executive producer Douglas Mackinnon, who also returned to direct all six episodes.
