In 1988 he started out as a slightly arrogant “superintendent of police” specializing in prevention, whose actions were always doomed to fail. So funny and successful that the actor was made an honorary commissioner in 2007.

Hence the official farewell to Ralf Martin Meyer (63) as he retires. The chief of police handed over the “pensioner” certificate in the Davidwache, saying: “’Mr Holm’ has done a lot for the positive image of the police. The truth is that we police officers also have a lot of humor and can also laugh at ourselves.”

retirement, now what?

Bielefeldt: “I have to let everything sink in first, I’m full of gratitude. Maybe I’ll write something humorous for the theater.”
