Google I/O 2023 is imminent! Google’s annual conference will showcase the Pixel Fold, Android 14 and other AI-related novelties. Here’s how to follow the long-awaited event live.

Google is indeed preparing to lift the veil on le Pixel Fold, its first-ever foldable smartphone that aims to rival Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold and eventual foldable iPhone. It will also be an opportunity to discover Android 14 and new features related to artificial intelligence.
Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google who earned $226 million in 2022, will kick off Google I/O 2023 this Wednesday, May 10 from the Google campus in Mountain View. The opening conference will of course be broadcast live online. This is the most important to watch for those who want to discover the Pixel Fold, even if we risk seeing the same marketing images that have already leaked. Other online conferences will follow in the following days, but they will be more geared towards developers.
How to see the launch of the Google Pixel Fold (and Pixel 7a)?

According to information from leakers, the Pixel Fold would be available for pre-order from the Google Store today before it goes on sale on June 27.
The Pixel Fold would not be the only new device presented by Google today. We also expect to find the Pixel 7a, the more affordable model from Google. A leak has already fully unveiled the Pixel 7a before its presentation. Sources also expect the Pixel 7a to be available immediately after the conference.
Finally, let’s not forget the famous Pixel Tablet. Teased last year at Google I/O 2022, the Google tablet has every chance of being officially launched today.
Android 14, artificial intelligence, what are the other new features of Google I/O 2023?
Google’s ads will also be loaded from a software perspective. The Mountain View giant must indeed present Android 14, the next version of its mobile operating system. Android 14 will bring several new features such as easier access to alternative app stores. Its release in final version would be scheduled between the end of August and the beginning of September 2023.
Google I/O 2023 will also not be able to ignore generative artificial intelligence to rival ChatGPT. Google should therefore present all its new AI developments, including the new PaLM 2 language model (Pathways Language Model). We also expect to discover improvements to Bard, Google’s chatbot, which is coming as an application on Android and as a widget on Pixel smartphones.
