The new Gran Turismo 7 update is coming. What will be the program in April 2023? The creator of the license already gives some clues with his usual teaser.
The days when Gran Turismo 7 was singled out for its disappointing economic system are long gone. Polyphony Digital has been able to correct the situation with updates. A year later, the game is more generous than ever in terms of content and the forced grind is now a distant past. Each month, the developers therefore offer an update containing generally three new free cars. However, there will be a few more in theupdate from April 2023.
Gran Turismo 7 April Update is coming
For the first anniversary of Gran Turismo 7, Polyphony Digital had hit hard. Last month, GT7 patch 1.31 added five new cars, new tracks, new menus for the GT Café and a spring Scape of the most beautiful effect. It also marked the arrival of VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and the possibility of playing at 120Hz on PS5. A feature that had transformed the game according to some players and analysts from Digital Foundry had been equally convinced by the new fluidity of the PlayStation exclusive. You most certainly shouldn’t expect such generous content for the April update of Gran Turismo 7but we already know that it will be a tad richer than the updates classics.
As usual, Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of the license, split his monthly tweet revealing the silhouette of the new vehicles that will arrive with the next patch. In April, therefore, not three but four cars will be added free of charge for all players. As some fans have noticed, two of them are definitely Super Formula. One strongly resembles the AMG GT3 EVO while the Jaguar XJ220 is well on its way to making its debut in Gran Turismo 7. This latest addition seems to be particularly enthusiastic about the community on specialized forums, especially since it was teased in an official presentation of the game last December.
The next GT7 update will be deployed this Thursday, April 27, 2023. Its content should be revealed within hours. As usual, some other elements are also expected in this next update. In particular, there should be a new Scape, circuit variations and new challenges. See you tomorrow to get to the bottom of it.
