After The Spanish inn, Russian dolls et Chinese puzzle, Cédric Klapisch continues to tell the story of Xavier (Romain Duris), but with another prism, that of his children, the fruits of his love affair with Wendy. In the series Greek salad, available on Prime Video since Friday April 14, one of them, Tom, is played by Aliocha Schneider. A well-known family name in French cinema, since it is also that of Niels Schneider. And for good reason, Virginie Efira’s companion is one of his brothers. A truth difficult to deny as the resemblance is striking. They were five before the death of Vadim at the age of 17, following a car accident, while he was on the set of a Canadian series.

“At the age of 10, I lost my big brother. He was singing and that’s why I started to sing”explained Aliocha Schneider to Radio-Canada in 2017. An interview relayed by BFM TV which recalls that the young actor of 29 years started out as a singer. The companion of singer Charlotte Cardin first released in 2016 an EP titled Sorry Eyesbefore publishing the albums Eleven Songs (2017) et Naked (2020) and turning to comedy. In 2008, at the age of 15, he launched himself in Quebec by interpreting in the theater the main character of an adaptation of The life ahead by Romain Gary. The one who gave the reply to Monica Bellucci in Ville-Marie de Guy Edoin stood out in 2020 in the Netflix series Vampires.

Aliocha Schneider is making a name for himself on the platforms, but also in the cinema. After Olivier Treiner’s film The vortex of life with Lou de Laâge, Raphaël Personnaz and Isabelle Carré, released last year, he played the main role of the German drama Musicin March 2023. And he will soon be in the Disney+ series Everything’s good, next to… Virginie Efirahis brother’s companion. A family drama that should span eight 52-minute episodes.
