The guild ball, the only large masked carnival ball in town, is alternately organized every year by one of the two carnival and radio guilds, Berg or Bäumle. This year, the Berg guild was responsible as organizers in the new Häs and new motto as a “rockabilly” group with Roman Rist, mayor of the carnival. On Friday, February 10th, the Lochau ballroom and the party tent were festively decorated by the members and perfectly prepared for the carnival party. In addition to the rockabillys from the mountain, the second Lochau carnival guild Bäumle and the Gugga band “Einklang” were also represented. The Bäumler were also on the road with their mayor Stefan Pienz with a new motto and new costume as the Bäumler-Paradise-Group. At the ball event of the year in Lochau, the “Partyjäger” played live on stage in the festival hall, DJ Lux provided the right party sound in the heated party tent and made the floor shake. With a broad program, the organizers ensured an entertaining evening. The opening show of the Berger Rockabillys delighted the audience. The Teeniegarde Lauterach and the Lauterach Schalmeien presented themselves from their best sides. The Gugga music unison, also in a new guise, played. The Leiblachtal prince couple, Princess Simone and Prince Hubert, along with their fluffy entourage, the Hörbranz robber barons and the Leiblachtal shawms, also attended the Lochau Ball. The prince couple show was performed and the coveted prince medals were awarded. The Leiblachtaler Schalmeien with Präse Minimi, for whom the performance meant a home game, brought the atmosphere in the ballroom to a boil. At midnight, the exceptional musicians took the opportunity to serenade a birthday boy in a packed party tent.
Numerous girls, fools, masked people and representatives of many carnival guilds use the Lochau guild ball to celebrate carnival together in the festival hall and in the carnival tent. It was finally possible to maintain or establish new contacts among like-minded people. The salvors are to be congratulated on their organization. The evening was well prepared and the Berger took care of the well-being of their guests. Next year, the Bäumler invite you to the 2024 guild ball with Ore Ore!
