Great Wall Motor (GWM) started 2023 with a small sample of what it intends to bring to the Brazilian car market in the year. The Chinese automaker, which will officially launch the hybrid SUV Haval H6 soon, dared in its 1st commercial produced for the country, named hello tomorrow (Hello, Tomorrow, in literal translation).

The commercial aired in the first minute of the new year, and has as background music an adaptation of Hello, Goodbye (Hello, Goodbye) by The Beatles. The idea is, literally, to greet a new era in the automotive industry in Brazil, driven by the brand’s hybrid and electric cars, and say goodbye to the past.

“Goodbye, promises. Hello, new attitudes. A new generation of hybrid cars is coming, where technology and sustainability go hand in hand. Connected cars, for connected people”, says the video caption, on the brand’s YouTube channel.

Longer versions of the commercial

The film that premiered at the turn of 2022 to 2023 was the first in a series already produced by GWM to leverage the launch of models such as the Haval H6, already briefly tested by the report of the canaltech during a brand presentation event, in Rio de Janeiro.

According to GWM, there is a version twice as long, 30 seconds, scheduled to premiere on January 17 on open and closed TV and social networks, in addition to an even longer piece, with 1 minute duration, exclusive to TV closed and social networks.

It is always good to remember that the Haval H6 that will be sold in the Brazilian market was produced especially for the green-yellow market, but will be manufactured in China and imported here. The first car confirmed to be made on national soil, in Iracemápolis, is the Poer pickup, which will also have an exclusive version for local consumers.
