Tomorrow Habo Wolley plays the first match in the fight for the SM gold away as the toughest possible opposition in the form of Hylte Halmstad awaits.
It is the first time in the club’s 36-year history that Habo is playing in the SM final – but there is nothing that scares the team captain.
– Personally, I always have the ambition to win, but there is no negative pressure. You feel that you have something to play for.
McWilliam about next season
The team’s coach and also the coach of the year in the 2022/23 elite league season, Andrew McWilliam, became attached to Habo after he visited as an opponent once.
– I remember the crowd and the support Habo had as a club so it was an easy decision, says McWilliam.
But if he will stay next season, he does not want to answer yet.
