The 15-year-old moped driver was on a sidewalk in Hard on Monday without a license plate.
On Monday shortly before 5 p.m., a police patrol in Hard noticed a moped driver who was walking on the sidewalk on Mehrerauer Straße without a license plate in the direction of Achsiedlung. The officials gave the driver to understand that he should stop, instead he drove over the bike path and the bike bridge in the direction of Hard and then at excessive speed through the Harder local area. The officials were only able to stop the 15-year-old moped driver, who lives in Dornbirn, in the courtyard of an elementary school. A saliva test for THC was positive.

Three police patrols were involved in the search for the fleeing 15-year-old. Passers-by who encountered the moped driver on the footpath and cycle path on Monday are asked to contact the Bregenz Police Inspectorate on +43 (0) 59 133 8120.
