Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (TMC) : an actor from the saga absent from the film

In this grand finale, all the emblematic characters of the saga meet for an epic and spectacular conclusion where it all began, at Hogwarts. All ? With some exceptions. Yes, fans must have noticed the absence of Crabbe, one of the two faithful acolytes, with Goyle, of Draco Malfoy since the first opus Harry Potter at the Sorcerer’s Stonefor which a famous actor had turned down the role of Snape. Indeed, on July 21, 2009, the interpreter of Crabbe, Jamie Waylett, 19, was arrested in London driving a black Audi with one of his friends for possession of cannabis. Later, during the investigation, the police discover marijuana plants hidden in the young man’s home at his mother’s in Kilburn, a town northwest of London. The court sentences him to 120 hours of community service. But the ordeal has only just begun for the actor who is arrested again in 2011 for violence and theft. He was sentenced to 2 years in prison for disturbing public order and violence.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (TMC): who replaces Crabbe in the movies?

Present throughout the book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling, Crabbe is thus absent from this part, which includes a scene which was “horribleto shoot for Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, which we highly recommend, the plot takes place mainly outside of Hogwarts unlike the second part where the action returns to the castle. This therefore requires the appearance of Draco Malfoy and his friends. To replace Crabbe, the production decided to choose the character of Blaise Zabini, played by Louis Cordice. Appeared in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (film with a huge historical error!), it then evolves within a quartet also composed of Draco Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Blaise Zabini then becomes one of the permanent members of the trio of antagonists of Slytherin. We see him in particular in the fight with Harry, Ron and Hermione in the Room of Requirement for an explosive sequence, in which Goyle is killed.
