Around 150 Swedes are in this situation now in Sudan, where several hundred people have been killed in the fighting. One of them is the nephew of Eskilstuna resident Hassan Alsherif Saud Ahmed, who was hit by a bomb in his own home.

Difficult to connect with family and friends
Hassan says that it has also been problematic to maintain contact with family and friends in his native Sudan.
– I have not been in contact for several days, it has been very difficult, because there is no electricity or internet.
