Mexico City.- It all started in an afternoon of playing with friends who decided to start what in Mexico is known as hide and seek. The youngest of only 11 years old, he thought it would be good to hide in a maritime cargo container in the area, because he considered that no one would ever find him there, a fact that came true.
The minor, whom they identified as Fahim, was with his friends at the Chittagong seaport in Bangladesh. While he waited for him to find it, the freighter apparently set off with the minor inside, thus traveling 3,000 kilometers.
Local media cited by Cultura Colectiva indicated that little Fahim fell asleep inside the container, so he did not realize when he was put on the ship. Without food or water, the minor traveled until he was finally able to descend, but in Port Klang, Malaysia.
The crew upon realizing the minor is that they called the authorities who interrogated the minor, but the language difference made it difficult to learn more about him. After six days in Malaysia, Fahim was finally able to return to Bangladesh, where his family was already anxiously awaiting him.
“The surprising thing was finding a completely disoriented young man with obvious signs of hunger and thirst,” reported a witness in the area who also emphasized that Fahim could barely survive because it was a relatively close trip.
