FRESNO COUNTY, California – Nicholas Lusk was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for committing multiple sexual assaults, the local prosecutor’s office said.
On August 9, the sentence that will leave Lusk behind bars for several years was known.
The Fresno Police Department began its investigation into Lusk on April 23, 2016, after a former partner reported him for sexual assault.
On July 24 of that same year, a second sexual assault was reported to the police. According to court records, the victim was someone Lusk had met at a nightclub, followed her to her home and assaulted her after entering her residence through a window.
The sentence was handed down by the Honorable Michael Idiart in Department 71 of the Fresno Superior Court after a Fresno County jury found Lusk guilty in April 2023.
