An adult seen with a gun during a fight outside a Boston school was arrested Friday, school district officials said.
The fight took place outside the John D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics and Science in Roxbury, school principal Patreka Wood said in a letter to the community. Police quickly arrested the person, who was not associated with the school.
Boston police confirmed that an adult was arrested after a fight and that a firearm was recovered.
Officials did not name the person who was arrested or share any other information about the circumstances of the fight, including whether anyone was injured.
Ambulances and several police vehicles were outside the school after the fight.
