Los Angeles Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a driver and his passengers who struck and severely injured a 13-year-old boy in south central Los Angeles on Friday.

According to authorities, the vehicle, described as a black 2014 Kia ​​Optima, and allegedly stolen, was speeding when the boy was hit on a bicycle on Main Street near 27th Street.

The incident occurred on May 16 at around 7:00 p.m.

According to an LAPD statement, the stolen vehicle, which was parked in the 300 block of West 14th Streetth he lost control of the car and began to travel the opposite side hitting the minor, who was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The four suspects were described as Hispanic males between the ages of 18-20.

The driver was wearing a black sweater, pants and shoes, and was also carrying a white backpack.
