This year’s Farmen celebrity winner has finally been named. It was the celebrity chef Trond Moi (53) who finally ran away with the given victory. He won the final against influencer Sofie Karlstad (25).

When TV 2 met Moi and his family the day before the final was to be televised, he was finally able to reveal what he was going to do with the prize.

The celebrity chef has not only won honours, but also a car worth over NOK 600,000.

This is what Moi said after the victory

The filming of Farmen kendis took place in the summer months, but does not appear on the screen until more than half a year later.

Here the hall explodes in applause for the Farmen winner: – Completely speechless!

After the final had been recorded last summer, TV 2 asked Moi what plans he had for the car he had just won.

– The question is whether the prize should possibly go to my son Thilo and my bonus daughter Emilie. We’ll see, Moi replied with a big smile on his face.

Moi was clearly touched when he was asked what it would be like to finally reunite with his family after six weeks without them.

– I live in Kristiansand, so I can’t get home until tomorrow. But I’m really looking forward to seeing them again.

Moi said that it was the letter from his family that gave him the motivation he needed at the end of his stay.

Got second place in Farmen kendis: – Kept it a secret from mother

– The hardest thing for me here has been being away from my family. It has been incredibly difficult. But when I got this wonderful letter from them in week four, it helped a lot, the 53-year-old revealed, clearly touched.

Disagree with the premium plans

When TV 2 talks to Moi and the family about the tips they gave their father before he went 100 years back in time, his son Thilo was determined that his father could try to win.

– The prize… We’ll see, it’s a great car. But I think I’ll keep it for a week to have some fun. Then it will probably be put up for sale, I think, says Moi.

– Why?

– It costs some money to receive it. It will probably be sold, but it has not been finally decided, he adds.

It is the case that the winners of Farmen kendis have to pay taxes on the prize. Moi reveals, regardless of this, that he would probably sell the car anyway.

– I have a car I’m happy with, but I don’t think my family completely agrees, Moi replies and laughs as he looks away at the family.

The fact that Moi has decided to sell the car did not go down well with the family.

– I am against it! I’ve already bought two cars, says daughter Emilie.

– Yes, it’s fantastic to win a car, so I don’t quite understand the choice, adds the wife.

– So the choice to sell the car is unpopular, then?

– No, it’s fine for me. I don’t have the note then, replies son Thilo with a smile.
