Many companies are moving parts of their IT environment to the public cloud. In some situations, however, a complete move to the cloud is not possible or desirable. A hybrid cloud model is a good way to benefit from the advantages of cloud computing. The iX workshop Building a hybrid cloud shows IT architects and administrators how to move parts of their corporate workload to the public cloud and how to interact with on-premises applications.
First, the workshop explains the basics and most important terms from the field of hybrid networking. The following practical part shows how to set up a hybrid cloud including a preconfigured environment. In order to benefit optimally from this workshop, you should already have some experience with a public cloud and also have a concrete application scenario for setting up a hybrid cloud. The certified trainers Constantin Söldner and Sebastian Rohr have been working as consultants in the cloud environment for many years.
The course will take place on March 10, 2023 as an online workshop. It is limited to 15 participants in order to leave enough space for exchange and feedback on the case studies brought by the participants.
