With the ‘discovery’ of the last ten finalists of the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, this Thursday night, in the second semifinal, the list of countries that will perform in Saturday’s final is complete – where the singer was already Portuguese Mimicat and the theme ‘Ai Coração’ (settled in the first semi-final, on Tuesday).

In total, there were 16 countries fighting for one of the places available for the final, but only ten made it. Are they: Albania, Cyprus, Estonia, Belgium, Austria, Lithuania, Poland, Australia, Armenia and Slovenia.

Outside were Denmark, Georgia, Iceland, San Marino, Romania, and Greece.

These ten countries join the other ten qualified in the first semi-final – Portugal, Croatia, Moldova, Switzerland, Finland, Czech Republic, Israel, Sweden, Serbia and Norway -, to the six who go directly to the final: the so-called ‘Big 5’ – Germany, Spain, Italy, France and the United Kingdom – and to the winning country of the last edition, in this case Ukraine.

Thursday’s party at the M&S Arena – hosted by Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina, Brit Alesha Dixon and actress Hannah Waddingham – began with Dane’s Reiley and ‘Breaking My Heart’ and ended with Aussie’s ‘Voyager and ‘Promise’.

At halftime, there was a performance by Ukrainian rapper OTOY and singers Mariya Yaremchuk and Zlata Dziunka. Mariya Yaremchuk represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 and won 6th place. Zlata Dziunka, just 14 years old, made her debut on the Eurovision stage in 2022 at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Songs from Spain, Ukraine and the United Kingdom were also presented – three of the six countries that go directly to the final and, therefore, did not perform in the semifinals of the competition. This year, Spain is represented by Blanca Paloma and ‘EAEA’, Ukraine by TVORCHI and ‘Heart Of Steel. The UK brings Mae Muller and ‘I Wrote a Song’.

Remember that the Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra won the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, on May 14, in Turin, Italy. The theme ‘Stefania’ collected a total of 631 votes, combined between jury and public votes.
