Critical Role And Amazon Studios have announced a multi-year deal that includes the production of an animated series, and a first-run film, based on the second campaign of Critical Roleentitled Mighty Nein. This deal represents an important step for both parties, as it will allow them to reach new audiences and expand their creative reach.
The Mighty Nein series
The animated series entitled Mighty Nein will tell the adventures of a group of heroes who meet in a fantasy world and embark on a series of missions to save the kingdom.
It will debut on Prime Video and second what is reported, will be executive produced by Tasha Huo, Sam Riegel and Travis Willingham alongside Critical Role’s Metapigeon and Amazon Studios. Finally, Chris Prynoski (The Legend of Vox Machina), Shannon Prynoski (Fairfax), Antonio Canobbio (Arlo the Alligator Boy) and Ben Kalina (Big Mouth) of Titmouse will serve as executive producers.
